Part 1 identifies what pain is and what ‘causes’ it – and explains the difference between ‘acute’ and ‘chronic’ pain.

  • Outlines why movement and re-training your brain are crucial to addressing pain

  • Explains what traditional pain science and most medical approaches to treating pain have got ‘wrong’ in understanding the experience of pain.
