Please enjoy this free class today, 7th June 2026. It’s 50 minutes long, so take it nice and slowly, and maybe give yourself an extra few minutes at the end to really rest and spend a little time on and with yourself…
This class is simple and gentle. It’s not like the class I had planned for today (I’ll deliver that on the 21st June!), but I hope you enjoy it and get something from it. Thank you! - Samantha.

Be gentle with yourself, never stretching (even ‘gently’), and never moving into pain (or more pain, if you’re starting with some pain): if anything hurts or feels like it might start to, ease gently back out of the movement and rest… But it’s okay to go to the edges of your comfort zone. It’s also okay to imagine or visualise some or all of the movements, or to make tiny ‘micro movements’. Explore and experiment! Try different ‘sizes’ of the ‘same’ movement, and notice how small you can make a movement and still feel something.
Move slowly and gently, paying attention to the quality of each movement, and how it feels in your whole body; remember that moving in a way that’s somatically beneficial is a skill we’re all developing: so don’t just approach this as ‘movement’ but as a whole experience that includes sensing and learning as well as moving. (That’s what makes it somatic! ;)
